Whew, what a summer! As you all may have guessed, the Litzos took an unofficial hiatus over the summer. We did it all, including camping, a hospital ICU stay for Nancy, and the mother of all eclipses in our home state of Oregon. Now that school is almost back in session, we can all take a deep breath and prepare ourselves to get back to work.
Our kind and thorough beta reader has completed his read-through of Hunters of Gaia, our second book in the New Mother Earth series. So, our first order of business is working through his notes and suggestions. We are very grateful for his help. Anne will take the lead on this final go-round.
Nancy is finally feeling a bit better and she is planning on jumping back into The Ocular with Eric. She’s got a few more chapters to write to finish up the manuscript and Eric is working his way through a rewrite of the beginning chapters. They should meet somewhere in the middle if all goes well.
While we haven’t quite yet reached George R.R. Martin paced writing, it’s still been slow-going the last few years. We appreciate everyone for sticking with us. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
We hope you all had a safe and productive summer! Best wishes,
Anne, Nancy, and Eric
