As January comes to a close, we can honestly say that things are looking up. We finished the first draft of the second book in our science fiction series, Hunters of Gaia.  We still have a lot of work to do but I think we’ve earned our pat on the back for that one. We’ve also been developing our story arcs and chapter map for the third book, Servants of Gaia, and in fact, we’ve already written the first three chapters! The New Mother Earth series was supposed to be a trilogy but after much discussion, we have enough planned story lines to take us through a fourth and possibly fifth book.

As for our horror novel-in-progress, we’ve added several new chapters. This weekend, we met to hash out a few sticky plot points and we think we’ve got it figured out. That book, The Ocular, is well over half-way done. Now that we have a clearer picture of the way forward, we expect to pick up the pace.
