It’s a fine day, indeed! We are happy to report that the first draft of the second book in our New Mother Earth science fiction series, Hunters of Gaia, is complete. Of course, it is nowhere near ready for publishing but we’ve got the raw material to work with now.

As for the way forward, we’ll be finishing edits on the last six chapters, then we’ll each get a read-through for flow and continuity. That should identify where we need to fine-tune the plot and any glaring errors. Once we’re satisfied with the manuscript as a whole, we’ll turn it over to our beta-reader and she’ll give us her feedback. Finally, we’ll write a jacket blurb, work on the final version of the cover, and format for both Amazon and Createspace . If all goes according to plan, we’ll be ready to hit the big red publish button, hopefully sometime around March.

We’re still working on our other work-in-progress, our horror novel, The Ocular. We’re also preparing  another author interview for the blog. If we can keep our momentum going, we are on track for a great year of new writing.
