Fall is here, and along with the pumpkin spice lattes, we’re getting back to business. After a very challenging first half of 2015, we hope and pray that the rest of the year will be uneventful or if it is eventful, that they are of the good kind. In that spirit, we’ve set a self-imposed goal of finishing the Ocular and Hunters of Gaia before the end of the year. We will not be participating in National Novel Writing Month, NaNoWriMo, in November in order to focus on those two projects.

The Ocular is sitting at just shy of 60,000 words. Nancy and Eric are currently revising the story line to better fit a new and improved ending. We are really loving this story and we have more books outlined based on the setting and characters.

We just added three chapters to Hunters of Gaia and it is now just ten planned chapters away from the finish. Not that we always stick to the plan. Occasionally, the story and the characters surprise us. Once we’re done with this one, we’re ready to jump into the third and final installment of the New Mother Earth trilogy. Although, we also have more books planned based on the world of SkyWeb.

As for marketing, we have lined up a few more interviews for the blog. Talking to authors and other people in the business of making books has turned out to be really enjoyable. We hope you like the interviews as much as we like doing them.

We’ve been anxiously awaiting cooler temperatures and now that Autumn has landed, we have no more excuses.
