We’ve fallen off the literary wagon a bit this month, but we have a really good reason for it. Anne and her family were in a serious car accident while on vacation in South Africa in December. Her 10 year old son was badly injured and spent 40 days in the hospital in Johannesburg before he was cleared to fly home to the US. The whole family arrived in Seattle at the end of January and moved into Nancy’s home during the first week of February to rest and recover. Anne’s son’s medical issues are ongoing but not life-threatening.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, we’re a tight knit family. What affects one, affects us all. We tend to rally the troops in times of trouble and that is what is happening now. We’re focusing our energy on getting everyone healed up and hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, with the little time we do have, we’ll be focusing on producing new material. We will also be helping a fellow writer format his gardening books/pamphlets for e-distribution in the coming weeks. It will be nice to put our hard-won knowledge of self-publishing to good use on someone else’s behalf and maybe we’ll learn something in the process.
We appreciate your patience. Drop us a line, if you’re so inclined.
Anne, Nancy and Eric
