Despite a current lull in producing new material, we’ve been tending to the business side of things this past week. We’ve initiated several big changes. The first change that we previously mentioned in our last blog post, publishing our novels and short stories on Smashwords, is slowly coming to fruition. We have successfully uploaded Creek House and it is now available on Smashwords and its supported platforms. You can now purchase Creek House on iBooks, Nook, Kobo, and a few others.
The second big change we have in the works is that we have decided to drop our H.R. Olsen penname. We are republishing Exiles of Gaia and Gaia Uprising under our Renna Olsen penname. It will make marketing so much easier and hopefully expand our readership. Hey, if Steven King can do it, so can we. We’ll be updating our covers, author blurbs, and our publishing and marketing platforms with the new name over the next few weeks.
Anne is waiting to leave South Africa and it looks like that could happen in the next week. She is working remotely to make the name change happen. Nancy and Eric are concentrating on the Smashwords conversion of the remaining four books and two short stories. There are a lot of technical details involved in the formatting and uploading but the two of them think they have it figured out.
As always, thanks for following,
Anne, Nancy and Eric
