Anne just flew back to Africa and boy, are her arms tired! That joke never gets old and it perfectly encapsulates the last few weeks for all of us.
Anne and her family flew home to Namibia during the first few days of the month. She’s been battling jet lag and preparing the kids for their second year at the International School in Windhoek. She still managed to squeeze in a bit of Litzo administrative business but not much else. That will soon change.
Eric has been editing the final version of Holly Virginia. The heavy edit, in addition to getting his own family ready for school and moving his 91 year old grandmother into her new home, is keeping him very busy.
But he’s not alone in his endeavors! Nancy worked feverishly to finish the first draft of Holly Virginia and do a complete read-through of the entire manuscript before jumping into coordinating our grandmother’s move, among many other family-related tasks.
We’re on track to publish Holly Virginia at the end of August. This novel has a lot of heart and we’re getting incredibly excited as we get closer to launch.
We hope you all had a great summer! We sure did.
Anne, Nancy and Eric
