This week, in order to boost our sales and gain a few new readers, we’ve been running simultaneous free promotional e-book giveaways on Exiles of Gaia and Creek House. We couldn’t be more pleased with how things are going!

We started the Exiles of Gaia giveaway on Thursday and it will continue through Monday, July 28th. While the numbers haven’t been as high as we’d like, we’re still seeing downloads every day. We hope that when we get the second book in the series finished that interest in our Gaia universe will perk up. Science fiction is definitely a niche market.

As for our Creek House giveaway, well, this giveaway has exceeded our expectations. Our first day, we almost hit a 1,000 downloads! We’re only running the Creek House promotion for two days and we’re eager to see how the second day goes. Due to the number of downloads, we’re currently listed as #1 on the Amazon UK Kindle horror/occult list. Yay!

As for the rest of the week, this morning we’re heading up to look around the NW Book Festival in Portland, Oregon. If it looks promising, we might aim to run a booth there next summer.

First round of edits are finished on Holly Virginia and Nancy has started on the first complete read-through.

The weather is beautiful and it’s a fine day for a stroll around the Rose City.
